Joint bid with TÜViT results in four-year master agreement.
In September of 2015, msg and TÜViT won a joint bid with the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI). The results are two four-year master agreements addressing issues surrounding project and requirement management, as well as quality assurance and testing. The master agreements were signed on October 1, 2015 and represent a continuation of the successful collaboration started by msg and TÜViT in 2012 when they began providing consulting services to the Federal Ministry of Transport.
Under the new master agreements, msg systems' Public Sector division will work with TÜViT, an information technology company, over the next few years to support project, requirement and test management within IT projects realized by various government agencies. In addition to developing and implementing IT systems, their work will also focus on consolidating the IT infrastructures already in place at the Federal Administration.
“Consolidating IT service centers on a Federal level will pose many great challenges for us,” explains Dr. Mike Rösler, Project Management Office Coordinator of the BMVI business unit of the Federal Institute for IT services. “We are confident that msg and TÜViT are the right partners to support us with our consolidation projects.”
“The collaboration between msg and our company has been very positive to date and we intend to continue that collaboration in these new upcoming projects,” states Dirk Kretzschmar, Managing Director at TÜViT. “We have sound expertise from previous consulting projects for public sector IT service centers and will be able to contribute this expertise in our collaboration with BMVI. In addition, msg’s wide portfolio of services will not only allow us to quickly staff projects, but to staff them with experts and realize these projects successfully,” adds Jürgen Fritsche, Manager of the Public Sector Division at msg systems ag.
