Four-year master agreement signed as result of joint bid with TÜViT
Munich, February 19, 2013. As part of a joint bid with TÜViT, msg systems won a bid published by the Federal Ministry for Transport, Construction and Urban Development (BMVBS) in September of last year. This four-year master agreement will focus on project and quality management. The agreement will involve a volume of approx. 3,000 employee work days.
Under this master agreement, msg systems' Public Sector division will work with TÜViT, an information technology company, over the next few years to support project, requirement and test management within the IT projects realized by various government agencies. The first project is already underway: Experts from msg systems and TÜViT are assisting in redeveloping the central card index for traffic offenses at the Federal Motor Transport Authority, providing extensive consulting on issues related to requirement management and test management.
"We were impressed by msg systems' and TÜViT's established competence in the fields of test, project and quality management, as well as their expert know-how," explains Dr. Mike Rösler, PMO coordinator at the Federal IT Services Agency within the BMVBS. "We are confident that we have found the best partners for our projects and look forward to a good and successful collaboration."
"The experts from msg systems and our company compliment one another perfectly; the cooperation between the two companies works very well," says Antonius Sommer, CEO of TÜViT. "The collaboration between all of the involved parties operates like a partnership and is very effective. This allows us to quickly and successfully handle the Ministry's IT projects," adds Dr. Stephan Frohnhoff, Member of the Board of Directors at msg systems ag.
