Strengthening business consulting for the process and discrete production industry
msg systems ag further expands its business consulting portfolio: On October 1st the group reorganized its Life Science & Healthcare division, with its cross-industry services, into the newly founded company “msg industry advisors ag”. By doing so, the group will be able to further expand its consulting expertise for companies in the process and discrete production industry. msg industry advisors is an unlisted company that will focus on advising leading mid-sized companies and international corporations.
CEO of the new company is Thomas Praska. Praska served as the Life Science & Healthcare Division Manager under msg systems ag. He will be joined by Dr. Jürgen Zehetmaier, who will be serving as CFO on the board of directors, in addition to his standing responsibilities at msg. msg manager Christoph Piller, previously the Life Science & Healthcare Department Manager, Stephan E. Willigens, previously the Supply Chain Department Manager, and Andreas Röttgermann and Harald Stricker, responsible for the IT management and digitalization, will also be among the management team at msg industry advisors.
msg industry advisors will focus on the operationalization of company strategy, as well as the design and implementation of functional strategies for the critical interface between organization, processes and IT systems. One of the core areas on which the new company will focus its efforts is the development and implementation of industry-specific approaches, particularly for the process and discrete production industry. The approach will be a cross-industry approach for the producing industry and the new company will focus on the core areas of process industry, such as pharmaceuticals, life science & healthcare and the chemical industry on the one hand, and the discrete production industry, such as consumer goods, mechanical engineering and electronics, on the other.
Over the next few years, msg industry advisors intends to continuously expand both its team and its service portfolio and systematically invest in the expansion of cross-industry and industry-specific solutions. To support these efforts, the new company will work closely with the other companies of the msg group, linking their own consulting services with the group’s recognized know-how in the field of complex corporate systems.
