msg continues to grow, many positions still available.
Back at the beginning of the year, msg announced its intention to hire 1,000 new employees in 2016 alone. What seemed like hard goal then has now been reached and ahead of schedule as well: more than 1,000 new colleagues have signed contracts with msg and are now contributing to the group’s continued growth.
msg has growth consistently throughout the course of its 35 years in business. Now the growth trend continues, especially in light of digitalization, “We are very proud that we have reached our goal of acquiring 1,000 new employees and have even done so before the end of the year,” explains Hans Zehetmaier, Chairman of the Board of Directors at msg systems ag. “We look forward to working with our new employees in all of our different projects and to working together to further ensure our customers’ and our own group’s success,” Zehetmaier continues.
Digitalization played a key role in the large number of new hires in 2016: after all, digitalization affects companies in all industries and has a wide-ranging impact on many facets of the economy and society. “For us, as an industry-oriented company, this means being involved in an increasing number of projects for and with our customers; projects that drive industry and company networking and involve digitalization. These projects open up many opportunities and hold great potential for us as a group and we want to take advantage of that,” Zehetmaier adds.
About 700 of the new employees were hired in Germany, while the other part was hired for msg’s locatins around the globe. For example, msg was able to hire a large number of new colleagues for its locations in Romania. The global hires spanned all career levels and ranged from development to consulting and project management. Yet, the group’s growth is scheduled to continue: according to the company’s “Agenda 2020”, msg is pursuing a goal of reaching 1 billion euro in total revenue by 2020. That is why the company will be hiring even more new colleagues in the coming years. “Our employees are our most important success factor, which is why we do everything we can to make sure they feel welcome and comfortable here, both today and in the future. In the end, we can only continue to grow and reach the impressive goals we have set for ourselves if they are happy,” Zehetmaier concludes.
