msg appoints technology and SAP visionary Michael Rasch to its Executive Board

The executive board now consists of five members, focusing on enhancing international delivery and scaling operations

 

The msg group is bolstering its management team with a globally recognized figure in technology: Michael Rasch (60), a business graduate and SAP specialist with over three decades of experience in digital transformation, has been appointed as a new member of the board of directors.

With his extensive background from top roles at PwC, IBM, Microsoft, and SAP, he will oversee crucial strategic areas including SAP, internationalization, and the growth of near- and offshore delivery as part of the msg board of directors. The goal is to achieve cost efficiency for customers through international scaling in project execution while enhancing their growth opportunities.

His background in executing large-scale digitalization projects on an international scale will greatly enhance our capabilities," says Dr. Jürgen Zehetmaier, chairman of the executive board of the msg group. "We strategically utilize international locations for our numerous customers to merge quality, global expertise, and appealing cost efficiency."

Michael Rasch started his professional journey in 1990 at PwC, subsequently managing complex international transformation projects at IBM, Microsoft, and SAP in the years that followed. He rejoined PwC in early 2011 as the Head of Technology Consulting, where he directed the Technology & Processes business unit and successfully guided the growth of the SAP sector – achieving measurable growth rates in Germany, Europe, and worldwide.
