msg and SECUINFRA form partnership for comprehensive cybersecurity

MDR services available to organizations 24/7

Ismaning/Berlin, January 09, 2026: Cyber defense specialist SECUINFRA GmbH and IT and consulting company msg announce their strategic partnership in cybersecurity. The aim of the collaboration is to enhance msg's IT security offerings and deliver a comprehensive range of IT security services to its customers. To this end, msg is incorporating the service of a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) into its security architecture, ensuring operational support in highly critical IT environments.

Within the msg group of companies, msg security advisors offer consulting services focused on the integrity and resilience of digital infrastructures. They adopt a holistic approach to cybersecurity, recognizing that the increasing volume and sophistication of threats to IT security necessitate a collaborative strategy, an integrated perspective on strategic, organizational, and technological factors, and expertise across multiple disciplines. As part of its ongoing growth in managed services, msg sought a partner with proven expertise in cyber defense. The key reasons for choosing SECUINFRA included its focus on providing always-on detection and response services, along with its strong reputation as a German cyber defense firm certified under ISO 27001.

Detection and rapid response 24/7

At the core of the partnership lies SECUINFRA's Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service. This service facilitates the ongoing detection, analysis, and management of security incidents – 24/7, 365 days a year. The services are available for Microsoft cloud environments, traditional on-premise infrastructures, and co-managed models. The offering is complemented by a newly launched service: a managed compromise assessment, which is implemented via a dedicated platform and detects potential compromises, even those that traditional antivirus and EDR (endpoint detection and response) solutions may overlook.

“The partnership with SECUINFRA aligns perfectly with our strategy to offer businesses extensive assistance in safeguarding their digital resources," states Thomas Soens, Head of the msg security advisors business unit. “By joining forces, we are enhancing our ability to withstand cyber threats – both now and in the years to come.”

Ramon Weil, founder and CEO of SECUINFRA, adds: “Partnering with msg marks a significant milestone for us as we continue to solidify our services and validate our successful journey. With msg as our ally, we are well-equipped to provide our customers with a complete and integrated IT security solution.”

Cooperation with development prospects

In the initial phase of the partnership, msg will incorporate SECUINFRA 's MDR services into its infrastructure and selected customer environments. Looking ahead, there are intentions to broaden the scope into other security-related domains, including red teaming and Privileged Access Management (PAM). msg is consistently enhancing its cybersecurity strategies to safeguard procedures and business processes in the long term, while also minimizing risks for both public authorities and businesses.
