The msg Group is strengthening the strategic management of its insurance activities and setting the course for further sustainable growth: Andreas Heidl has taken over as Chairman of msg nexinsure ag, while Jan Vatter has been responsible for the strategic development of the company as CEO of msg life ag since January 2026.
With the appointment of Andreas Heidl, msg nexinsure is relying on proven international insurance expertise and many years of transformation experience. The 50-year-old has more than 24 years of experience in the insurance industry, including at Generali and the Zurich Group. There he was responsible for international transformation, sales and turnaround programs as well as board functions for operations, IT and claims. In his new role, he will focus msg nexinsure's consistent focus on efficiency, scalability and clear customer benefits.
At the same time, msg life ag is strengthening its leadership with Jan Vatter as Spokesman of the Management Board. The 38-year-old has been part of the company since 2018, built up central functions such as quality management and PMO and was appointed to the board of directors in 2025. In his current role, he drives the AI transformation, internationalization and customer-centric development of msg life ag.
With this clear management structure, the msg Group underlines its claim to be a leading transformation and technology partner for the insurance industry.
