Dr. Andrea van Aubel to step down from the Executive Board at the end of the year
Move to the Supervisory Board effective January 1st, 2026 – Succession from within the company planned
The msg Group announces that Insurance Executive Board member Dr. Andrea van Aubel will retire from operational business at the end of the year in order to devote more time to her family and personal interests. After three years with the msg Group and a total of 33 years in management positions, this is a natural time to refocus her energies.
She will remain closely associated with the msg Group: On January 1st, 2026, she will take on a role on the Supervisory Board of msg nexinsure ag and will continue to contribute her extensive experience at the strategic level.
Her succession has been planned and will be filled from within the company, strengthening continuity within the msg Group:
- Jan Vatter (38) will take over as CEO of msg life ag.
- Andreas Heidl (49) will take over as CEO of msg nexinsure ag.
- Dr. Jürgen Zehetmaier (42), msg CEO, will take over as head of the Insurance division within the msg Group.
