SAP and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are significantly expanding their collaboration in the area of digital sovereignty: In the future, SAP Sovereign Cloud solutions will also be available on the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, which is currently being built in Brandenburg with an investment of 7.8 billion euros and is scheduled to go live by the end of 2025. The goal is to offer European companies a modern, highly secure and fully EU-compliant cloud infrastructure that is operated and managed exclusively by personnel within the European Union.
