On Monday, March 10, 2025, Hans Zehetmaier, co-founder of msg, was celebrated for his life's work during a gala evening held at the Villa Bonn in Frankfurt am Main.
He received this prestigious accolade at the Lünendonk business-to-business service awards (B2B). This marks the 14th occasion that the market research and consulting firm Lünendonk & Hossenfelder, based in Mindelheim, has hosted this event. A panel of 16 media representatives selected Zehetmaier for the lifetime achievement award, recognizing him as the co-founder of Germany's largest owner-managed IT service provider, located in Ismaning near Munich.
The jury provided the following rationale for the award: “Under his leadership, msg has emerged as the largest independent IT consultancy in Germany. In 2023, the company reported total revenues of approximately 1.4 billion euros and is recognized as a leading IT consultancy for the banking, insurance, and public sectors. In recent years, under Zehetmaier's guidance, the company has successfully diversified into other sectors, including automotive and manufacturing, and has earned an excellent reputation among employees, customers, and competitors.”
