Andreas Höher receives AFCEA Meritorious Service Award

Award for many years of voluntary commitment to the Bonn chapter of AFCEA

On May 5, 2025, Andreas Höher (Head of the Defense & Aerospace business unit) was presented with the Meritorious Service Award of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) at an official event at the Baltimore Convention Center (Maryland, USA). The award was presented by the Executive Committee of AFCEA International.

Andreas Höher has been active in AFCEA Bonn e.V. for over 20 years - initially on the Industry Advisory Board and later as a member of the Executive Committee. In this role, he has played a decisive role in shaping the development of the chapter. The focal points of his voluntary work include

  • the establishment and expansion of the Industry Advisory Board,
  • the organization of specialist events
  • the publication of specialist articles and
  • his ongoing work on the board.

AFCEA Bonn is a central platform for professional exchange between the Bundeswehr, security authorities, administration, science and industry in Germany. The aim is to promote digital transformation within the national security architecture.

The presentation of the Meritorious Service Award recognizes Andreas Höher's long-standing contribution to strengthening this dialogue.
