Projects must not only be implemented on time, cost-effectively and in line with specifications, but also fulfil regulatory requirements, react flexibly to changes and take into account the interests of all stakeholders. At the same time, their complexity is constantly increasing due to technological and functional requirements, the high speed of change and different process models such as waterfall, hybrid or agile.

A key success factor is therefore the ability to choose the right method for each project, adapt it to the specific environment and implement it consistently. Project and programme management

We support you in managing your projects and programmes with comprehensive services and guarantee the highest quality. Our experienced and knowledgeable project managers advise, train and coach your employees and take responsibility for the results. We also bring in experts in the fields of analysis, requirements engineering, ideation, user experience, change management, etc. In the project and programme, we are guided by our clearly defined and generically applicable project procedure ‘Fit for the project’ - PROjekt FIt (PROFI). This procedure takes into account all project management requirements across all phases - from initialisation to operation (keyword BizDevOps).

  • Management of (IT) projects and programmes with an agile, hybrid or waterfall implementation approach. We also offer project implementation as a ProjectLead as a Service (PLaaS) model - see also PMaaS
  • Realisation of ProjectStart workshops based on the ProjectStart circle and with the help of the msg ProjectBoard - online or on site
  • Support through Project Offices or through our MultiProject Offices or as ProjectOffice as a Service (POaaS) - see also PMaaS

Project Management Office (PMO)

From a certain level of complexity onwards, complex projects and programmes can no longer be set up and implemented by project management alone. It therefore makes sense to establish a professional project office (PO, MultiProject Office or ProjectOffice as a Service, POaaS - see also PMaaS), especially for large-scale projects and extensive programmes. This ensures process reliability - and the project management can concentrate on the non-delegable tasks in managing the project or programme.

At a cross-organisational level, those involved can establish uniform project management processes, methods and tools for a department or an entire company by setting up a Project Management Office (PMO). Employees are prepared for managing projects through systematic training, coaching and regular exchanges of experience and are supported by project audits.

  • Establishment and implementation of a project management office including multi-project and portfolio management
