As an IT partner to statutory accident insurance providers, BG Phoenics offers innovative software solutions and services aimed at optimizing administrative processes and increasing efficiency. BG Phoenics implemented the core system project in collaboration with msg.
Challenge
As part of the maintenance and modernization of an existing application in the J2EE environment, a service-based application landscape was to be maintained and further developed. The application was to support all business processes of a statutory accident insurance company – from recording incoming mail to outgoing mail. This included, among other things, member administration for statutory and voluntary insured persons, benefits and payments, including recourse processing, and the organization of prevention and training measures.
Goal
The tasks included software architecture, application development, and testing within a process model based on SAFe. A particular focus was placed on the maintenance, further development, and quality assurance of a workflow-driven, standardized, document-centric, and business process-oriented application. In addition, technical consulting was provided for the design and specification. The portal was developed using modern technologies, in particular Angular.
Solution and benefits
The project results made a valuable contribution to the further development of the application landscape. In addition to professional, technical, and methodological expertise in application development, the implementation of legal requirements, such as the Online Access Act (OZG), DAVOS, or the central company register, is ensured.
