Bundled Solutions for the Energy Supply Industry
Aequitas and m3 have already worked together in the past, successfully realizing joint projects for major companies in the power industry. Together, they now offer a holistic portfolio of consulting and solutions: from strategy development on the management level to process engineering and IT optimization, not to mention managed services solutions and development of power-specific components in an SAP environment. With these services, the two companies will be able to provide optimal support for power suppliers, network operators and supplier, metering point operators and future gateway administrators helping them overcome the challenges they face as a result of the continuous transitions seen in the energy industry. To that end, the partners are also planning joint developments, for example in the fields of smart metering and smart grids.
"The transitions in the energy supply industry pose major challenges for the companies in the industry," explains Frank Beck, managing director at Aequitas. "Not only in regard to organization and processes, but also as a result of the redistribution of the market. Topics such as product development and standardization will play a key role here, as well as the continuous structural and spatial change which the companies in the energy sector are facing. We are pleased to have a strong partner in msg systems to help us better meet the demands of the market and customers, and to give a decisive impetus toward expansion in this area."
"Our strategic cooperation truly is a win-win situation: for Aequitas, for us and naturally for customers, who will really benefit from our bundled services," states Dr. Dirk Taubner, a member of the board of directors at msg systems ag. "Aequitas' and our competences, fields and structures complement one another perfectly and we look forward to a productive and successful collaboration."
